Innsbruck has the reputation of an Olympic city to hold and offers its guests boundless sports fun. In winter, a wide variety of ski resorts invite you to have fun outdoors: whether it's your first time on skis or you're already among the advanced skiers: Winter sports fans will have their true joy on 270 km of perfectly laid-out slopes, endless cross-country ski trails, a unique network of winter hiking trails, toboggan runs or ice skating rinks. The best snow conditions are guaranteed and the local ski pass allows free transportation between the city and nearby ski resorts. In summer, the palette ranges from paragliding and rafting to climbing or enjoyable hiking through the Tyrolean mountains.
