Innrain 16 – you can’t get much more central than this
The Basic Hotel is situated right on Innrain, between the Inn Promenade and the Old Town. It’s a one-minute walk to the Golden Roof, five minutes to the university, and just a short stroll to the market hall as well. The Terminal Innrain stop is right outside the hotel – from there, you can reach the main railway station in four minutes.

From Innsbruck Central Station, it takes about four minutes by tram or taxi, or around 15 minutes on foot. The ‘Terminal Innrain’ stop, right in front of the hotel, is served by several tram and bus routes – a transport hub for half of Innsbruck.
From Italy via the A13 or from all other directions via the A12: Take the Innsbruck West exit and follow Egger-Lienz-Straße. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left into Holzhammerstraße, then turn right at the next junction onto Innrain. After about 1.5 kilometres, the hotel is on the opposite side of the road, level with the terminal.

As trams and buses stop right outside the door and the Old Town is within walking distance, many guests simply leave their cars behind during their stay.
It takes about ten minutes by taxi from Innsbruck Airport. The journey by bus takes about the same time.
